Junior Teams at Oakwood Park

Our Junior team went to Oakwood Park to defend their honour at the Championship Show and did it in style. They managed to win in the pouring rain and very slippery conditions. In the pairs, Becky and Sian M came 2nd, Nina and Sian P came 3rd after yet more slipping and sliding. The sun was out for the rest of the day and they all came away smiling if slightly soggy, trophy in hand.

Congratulations to Josie Waters for obtaining indiviudal 6th place at the BRC area horse trials championships recently at Offchurch Bury.

Congratulations to the UDRC novice showjumping team of Kay Kitson, Lesley Macey and Lesley Campbell for finishing in 6th place at the BRC show-jumping qualifier held at Felbridge showground.

Congratulations to the Senior Novice Horse Trials Team of: Josie Waters (Pauldary Jetlag), Caroline Reynolds (Malibu), Kay Kitson (Right Said Fred) and Camilla Thomas (Coogans White Witch) for winning the qualifier. Also very well done to Josie Waters for winning her section with a brilliant dressage score of 17.3 !!!

Also congratulations go to Debra Sardar riding Mac One for winning the Senior Open Horse Trials qualifier on the same day!

!!! GOOD LUCK AT THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN AUGUST !!!

Congratulations to our junior team who competed at Oakwood Park, Uckfield on Sunday 1^st May. In the teams of 4 section Nina Cummings, Sian Porter, Sian McKay and Becky Hill came first. We then entered two teams of 2 and came first and second in this class.


	UCKFIELD AND DISTRICT RIDING CLUB DRESSAGE COMPETITION 2nd April 2005 Thanks to: Lorna and Sas for organising this event; writers Liz Beeney and Yvonne Russell; Lorna’s mum Grace, Mim, Alison and Nina for stewarding. We had lots of complimentary comments on the day and hopefully it will have encouraged some new members.
